Single story
The danger of a single story is dangerous when growing up your exposed to what people would explain to be not false accusations but not the full truth . Just because you know a general fact about a community a religion or even a race doesn't mean every person of that community , religion , or race is the same as the next person around them. Just because a black boy is from Texas or Tennessee or wherever doesn't mean is less of country as the white boy that lives next to him . Just because you see a African person doesn't mean they have tribes and they listen to African because and dance in circles to it. I'm not saying that they may have a different side to them but we take what we see on the outside and judge people based off of what we know or what we are told. Do you think it's a hahbit and that because it's a common thing that it's ok to give people a single story?

As one single story will make us have negative view upon a specific group of individuals, it also makes many become more close-minded, which is an endless domino effect on society. Why do most Americans believe that the majority of Africans are poor? We do this to make ourselves look better than Africans and to also "brainwash" other people into thinking that we have the most power. Yes, this is a habit that is very difficult to put an end to, but I don't believe it is okay to give people single story as we will never know a person's upbringings. We can't determine that based on just one single story because not everyone has had the same life experience as each other.
